Accordingly, at a meeting with the collective leadership of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism on disseminating and implementing a number of key tasks of the Ministry in the coming time, Minister Nguyen Van Hung stated:
On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), the leaders of the Party, State, and Government have directed the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to organize many major activities to arouse pride in the heroic historical tradition of the country over the past 80 years, to create motivation and inspiration for our nation to enter a new era, an era of strong, civilized and prosperous development.

Therefore, the Minister requested museums under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to open free of charge to serve the people and international tourists visiting museums from September 1-3, 2025.
According to the Minister, through activities, it is necessary to contribute to helping people truly enjoy the fruits of our country, while contributing to promoting the image of Vietnamese culture, country and people to friends in the region and the world.
On this occasion, at museums, the unit will organize many exhibitions and exhibitions introducing the history, culture, country and people of Vietnam.
Specifically, at the Ho Chi Minh Museum, there will be activities such as: thematic exhibition of 80 years of the People's Public Security engraved with Uncle Ho's words, expected to open on August 15.; thematic exhibition of the Fall of Independence to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day, expected to open on August 26 and Exhibition of oil paintings of great oil and gas in Spring of Independence at the outdoor space of the Ho Chi Minh Museum, expected to open on September 2.

The Vietnam National Museum of History will host the Exhibition of Ethnic Minorities - Lighting up the Future, scheduled to open on August 22.
At the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum, there will be an exhibition "Children of the Fatherland" (expected to open on August); an exhibition "Artificial Intelligence in Applied Fine Arts" scheduled to open on August 22.
The Vietnam Fine Arts Museum in Ho Chi Minh City will also host the Ho Chi Minh Exhibition - Portrait of a Human.

At the Vietnam Ethnic Culture and Tourism Village, according to Mr. Trinh Ngoc Chung, Director of the Vietnam Ethnic Culture Department, to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), the Vietnam Ethnic Culture Department will direct the organization of many attractive activities, introducing traditional cultures of ethnic groups through the highland market space and cultural and artistic activities to celebrate the National Day of the ethnic communities living in the Village.
Mr. Trinh Ngoc Chung said that it is expected that within 3 days of opening for free, the Village will serve about 50,000 visitors.
Following the Minister's direction, Ms. Nguyen Thi Quynh Trang, Director of the Vietnam Contemporary Arts Theater, said: The theater will open to serve the people for free, especially children from September 1-3 with water puppet shows and attractive art and music programs.
