On the evening of August 1, speaking with Lao Dong, a representative of Gia Lai General Hospital said that the unit had received 3 victims of the electric vehicle accident that occurred at Nguyen Tat Thanh Square (Quy Nhon Ward).
" Of the 3 victims who were taken to the emergency room, 1 person died on the outlet, the remaining 2 people were injured and are being monitored and treated at the Department of Surgery," he informed.
According to initial records, at around 8:45 p.m. the same day, a 4-wheel red electric tourist car with license plate 77HC-001.13, with the City Tour Quy Nhon logo on the front of the car (driver's identity unknown), traveling through Nguyen Tat Thanh Square.
When arriving at the pedestrian crossing, the car suddenly hit a group of people crossing the road, killing one person and injuring two others.
Immediately after receiving the report, the authorities were present at the scene to examine, investigate and clarify the cause of the incident.
