The 2026 National Volleyball Tournament will kick off on April 6 at Dong Anh Gymnasium (Hanoi).
According to Lao Dong's investigation, former national player Tran Tu Linh is actively practicing professionally to have the opportunity to return to competition soon.
However, it is highly likely that she will still be sidelined in the first round of the 2026 National Volleyball Championship.
Tu Linh suffered a knee injury after the first round of the 2025 National Volleyball Championship. After that, this main hitter was operated on for nearly 1 year of recovery treatment.
Currently, Tran Tu Linh can practice with the ball. However, the striker still needs more time to ensure the best fitness and expertise when returning to form.
Due to the impact of injury, Tu Linh was absent from the Vietnam Women's Volleyball Team in 2025. She did not participate in SEA Games 33.
Tu Linh is currently a member of the Hoa Chat Duc Giang women's volleyball team. This team has middle blocker Ly Thi Luyen playing in Mongolia, however, she is expected to return to Vietnam in time for the first round of the 2026 national tournament in April 2026.
If she maintains stable fitness, it is likely that Tu Linh will have the opportunity to play in the 2nd round of this year's tournament.
Duc Giang Chemicals team ranked 5th in last year's tournament and this year set a goal to strive to achieve the best results.
