In the golden generation of Vietnamese women's volleyball in the period 2005–2015, Pham Thi Yen and Do Thi Minh were famous sisters, competing in the main attacking position and leaving a strong impression in the colors of the Information Corps club as well as the national team.
Pham Thi Yen is the cousin of Do Thi Minh (domestic), helping both of them stick together and support each other throughout their careers. Both athletes have been pillars of Vietnamese women's volleyball for many years, contributing to shaping the position of the team in Southeast Asia.

Pham Thi Yen, born in 1985, is considered one of the most outstanding main attackers in the history of Vietnamese women's volleyball. Possessing a height of 1m78, a strike range of up to 3m05 and good jumping ability, Yen stands out with powerful wing attacks and effective blocking skills.
From the early 2000s, the beauty queen of women's volleyball soon affirmed her name in domestic leagues and became the top choice in the national team.

In the colors of the Information Corps, Pham Thi Yen has dedicated her peak career to a single club. Throughout 17 years of competition, she won 11 national championships, won many individual titles such as excellent shuffler, Miss tournament at international tournaments, SEA Games silver medal and a series of titles at domestic cup tournaments.
From 2016, Pham Thi Yen switched to coaching and currently holds the role of deputy coach of the Binh Chung Thong Tin women's volleyball team.
In parallel with Pham Thi Yen, Do Thi Minh is also a prominent name of Vietnamese women's volleyball in the same period. Born in 1988, Minh played in the main attacking position and is known for his strong wrists, strong finishing ability and stable scoring efficiency.
Do Thi Minh's path to professional volleyball was not smooth from the beginning. When participating in the selection for the Binh Chung Thong Tin training academy, she did not meet fitness standards.
However, thanks to her long arm span and good motor skills, Minh was kept. Thanks to the help of the coach and especially from Pham Thi Yen, Do Thi Minh quickly progressed and passed 6 months of probation. In a short time, she became an important factor in the first team and was called up to the national team.

In her playing career, Do Thi Minh won 8 national championships with Binh Chung Thong Tin. She was once the first athlete of the club to play abroad when playing for a team in the Thai national championship, with high treatment compared to the general level at that time.
On a personal level, Do Thi Minh is considered one of the most effective main attackers in Vietnam and was once ranked high in the region by Volleybox.
In 2020, due to age and fitness issues, Do Thi Minh decided to retire and switch to coaching. Currently, she is playing the role of coach of the Young Women's Team of the Information Corps, continuing to contribute to Vietnamese volleyball in the training level.
With achievements in their careers, Pham Thi Yen and Do Thi Minh are considered two typical representatives of the golden generation of Vietnamese women's volleyball. The imprint of this sister pair lies not only in the title but also in the professional stability and long-term influence on the club as well as the national team.
