Ho Chi Minh City Police Club loses heavily to Hanoi Police team at Binh Duong Stadium

On the evening of April 19, Ho Chi Minh City Police Club suffered a 0-3 defeat to Hanoi Police Team at Binh Duong Stadium in the 2025-2026 V.League round.

Right after the opening whistle, the Hanoi Police team proactively pushed up the squad and created continuous pressure on goalkeeper Le Giang Patrik's goal. In the 21st minute, from a coordinated situation on the right wing, Le Van Do finished the ball, hitting the home defender's foot and changing direction, opening the score for the away team.

After conceding a goal, the Ho Chi Minh City Police team made efforts to reorganize the game and had a noteworthy opportunity in the 31st minute when Nguyen Tien Linh headed the ball against the crossbar. However, this was one of the few dangerous situations that the home team created in the first half. Meanwhile, the Hanoi Police team still maintained control of the game with the mobility of the midfield, notably the regulating role of Nguyen Quang Hai.

Stepping into the second half, coach Mano Polking's team continued to increase pressure. Phan Van Duc had two consecutive dangerous shots but could not beat goalkeeper Le Giang. However, the away team's efforts were concretized in the 81st minute when Alves took advantage of an opportunity in the penalty area to increase the score to 2-0.

Just 5 minutes later, Nguyen Dinh Bac sealed a 3-0 victory for Hanoi Police with an accurate finish, closing the match with the overwhelming game of the away team.

The three points obtained help the Hanoi Police team continue to solidify the top spot in the V.League 2025-2026 standings with 48 points. Meanwhile, this result makes the Ho Chi Minh City Police team even deeper in crisis. After the last 3 matches in the V.League 2025-2026, coach Le Huynh Duc's team has not scored any goals and conceded 10 goals.
