From April 15 to 17, 2026, the 7th Open Competition on professional multi-purpose sports for professional dog training experts takes place in Belarus. The competition gathers 12 teams from 3 countries including Vietnam, Russia and Belarus, all of which are forces with a lot of experience in training and using service dogs to serve security and order assurance.
Participating in this playground is considered a step forward in foreign affairs activities, and also shows the orientation to improve the level according to international standards of the Vietnamese Mobile Police force.

The Vietnamese team participated with 2 training staff and 2 nghiệp vụ dogs. These are "best matches" who have undergone a rigorous training process for a long time.
The competition sections span 7 contents, from general training, tracking in urban and forest areas, to searching for objects, overcoming obstacles..., requiring high accuracy as well as harmony between trainers and nghiệp vụ dogs.
Being the representative of the force to participate in the international playground is a great honor, but also a heavy responsibility. When entering the competition, the most important thing is to maintain calmness, coordinate well with nghiệp vụ dogs to complete each content in the most accurate way," Lieutenant Khong Dang Khoa - official of the Professional Animal Training and Use Center shared.
According to Lieutenant Khoa, differences in weather, terrain and strict international standards create no small pressure, but are also opportunities to accumulate more practical experience.
This year's competition contents closely followed work requirements such as tracing traces, detecting explosives, attacking targets, and protecting key players. Against strong teams from Belarus and Russia, the Vietnamese team still maintained composure, followed discipline and showed professional demeanor throughout the competition process.
At the end of the competition, the Vietnamese Mobile Police team won the third team prize. This is a remarkable result in their first official participation, reflecting the quality of professional dog training as well as the integration ability of the People's Police force.
