From June 17-21, the PPA Asia 500 Beijing Open 2026 will take place in Beijing, China. This is a tournament belonging to the PPA Tour Asia system, with a total prize money of 70,000 USD and awarding 500 bonus points to the champions on the PPA rankings.
Beijing Open 2026 gathers hundreds of athletes from more than 30 countries and territories. Notably, this is the first time a tournament belonging to PPA Tour Asia has been held at the Beijing National Tennis Center - the venue that hosted the tennis event at the 2008 Olympics.
The Vietnamese team continues to participate with many notable faces. Truong Vinh Hien is seeded No. 2 in the men's singles event, and is also a championship contender. Ly Hoang Nam also received many expectations after winning the MB Hanoi Cup 2026 championship, currently ranked 15th in the PPA rankings.
In addition, Nguyen Huu Hung Anh will participate after the title at the Panas Kuala Lumpur Open 2026. In the women's event, Ho Thi Truc Tam continues to compete after winning the Macao Open 2026 runner-up title. Two young players Sophia Phuong Anh and Sophia Huynh Tran will also have the opportunity to rub shoulders with international opponents.
The tournament also gathers many world-leading players such as No. 1 seed in men's singles Zane Ford, Hong Kit Wong or female contenders such as Chao Yi Wang and Yufei Long.
All matches of PPA Asia 500 Beijing Open 2026 will be broadcast live and exclusively by FPT Play in Vietnam from June 17.
