From August 30th to September 6th, Da Nang City People's Committee will organize the Heineken Pickleball World Cup 2026 in Da Nang city.
The tournament will take place at Tien Son Sports Palace, Tuyen Son Sports Village and many pickleball courts and clubs in the city.
The tournament is expected to attract about 4,000 people from 80 countries and territories, including athletes, coaches, referees, international officials, business representatives, fans and relatives of athletes.
The organizers also invited some pickleball players in the top 20 in the world to participate as captains of the corresponding national team, along with tennis legends, sports icons and international pickleball movement ambassadors.
The main content of the event is the 2026 Pickleball World Cup with national competition categories including 5 categories: Open, Kids (U14), Junior (U18), Senior (50+) and Master (60+). In addition, there are more than 150 individual competition categories according to age and DUPR level, along with content for international artists and international CEOs.
In addition to matches, the event also has many side activities such as press conferences, welcome parties, exhibitions of pickleball products and OCOP products, special pickleball training programs, international referee training classes, exhibitions of 80 countries and territories participating in the tournament, volunteer activities, World Pickleball Development Forum and B2B business connection program.
Through the tournament, the city expects to strengthen international exchanges, promote Da Nang's image as a safe, friendly, and potential destination for tourism and sports development; and at the same time affirm its position as a national and international event organization center and a leading destination for sports tourism in the region.
