Accordingly, the men's singles final witnessed a successful coronation victory of Dinh Anh Hoang (CAND T&T) against defending champion Nguyen Anh Tu (Hanoi) with a final score of 4-1.
In set 1, Dinh Anh Hoang easily won 11-2 against their opponent, but then lost 5-11 in set 2. However, the champion of the 32nd SEA Games proved his mettle when defeating Anh Tu in the next 3 sets, respectively 11:9, 11-7 and 11-6 to win the gold medal.
This is also the first time Dinh Anh Hoang has won the national championship.
In addition, in the women's singles event, the final match is a competition between Nguyen Thi Nga (Hanoi) and Bui Ngoc Lan (Hai Duong). The tennis player from the capital did not have much difficulty in overcoming the opponent with a score of 4-0 (11-9, 11-8, 11-9, 11-7), thereby winning the national championship this year.
Previously, in the men's team and men's doubles events, the T&T People's Public Security team also had an excellent performance with 2 gold medals. Meanwhile, the gold medals for the women's team, women's doubles and mixed doubles all belonged to the Ho Chi Minh City team.
