In his 3rd performance in La Liga (February 10), Vietnamese artistic football player - Do Kim Phuc chose a traditional ao dai, competing in football with the mascot of Real Sociedad club.
An interesting point is that in all three of his performances in La Liga, Do Kim Phuc brought the joy of victory to the home teams.
"La Liga said that many clubs wanted to invite me to perform when they saw them bringing good luck to the home teams. They consider themselves as 'lucky animals'. There are a few clubs that have sent invitations, but I want to practice more to have more good performances before returning", Do Kim Phuc shared.
Do Kim Phuc's trip to Spain came at the invitation of La Liga President - Javier Tebas. During the 3 weeks here, the Vietnamese representative performed in 3 exciting matches of the Spanish national championship including Atletico Madrid - Villarreal (25.1), Barcelona - Alaves (2.2) and Real Sociedad - Espanyol (10.2).
The athlete born in 1989 impressed the Spanish audience when combining Vietnamese cultural features in her artistic football raising performance.
In Real Sociedad's final performance, Do Kim Phuc also had the opportunity to interact with Kubo - known as the "Messi" of Japan.
"Kubo took a lot of attention to watching me perform and even signed a gift for me after the match. I feel happy that the Asian players are successful in Spain" - Do Kim Phuc added.
