The coaching staff of LPBank Ninh Binh women's volleyball team reached an agreement to proceed to sign a contract with Chinese player Wang Yizhu.
According to Lao Dong's investigation, this will be the only foreign player that LPBank Ninh Binh women's team will add to round 1 of the 2026 National Club Championship.
Before coming to Vietnam to wear the jersey of LPBank Ninh Binh team, Wang Yizhu competed in the Chinese National Championship.
The hitter is 1m87 tall, playing as the main hitter. LPBank Ninh Binh team seemed to be able to sign a contract with player Edina Begic (Bosnia & Herzegovina) to complete the squad for the first round of this year's tournament, however, this hitter could not come to Vietnam due to scheduled competitions with her managing team in China.
Therefore, LPBank Ninh Binh team must find a replacement. Player Wang Yizhu was chosen and the hitter received high expectations from coach Thai Thanh Tung and the coaching staff of LPBank Ninh Binh team. The contract value was not announced to the outside.
Last year, LPBank Ninh Binh team won the runner-up title at home after losing to VTV Binh Dien Long An team in the final.
LPBank Ninh Binh women's team registered the list of domestic players to participate in round 1 of the 2026 National Club Championship, including players: Le Bach Hop, Nguyen Thi Thanh Dieu, Nguyen Thi Thuy, Bui Thi Huyen, Nguyen Thi Uyen, Pham Thi Nhu Quynh, Nguyen Thi Thanh Mai, Dinh Thi Thuy, Bui Thi Bich Nga, Luu Thi Hue, Ha Thi Thu Hien, Trinh Thi Hong Nhung, Pham Thi Hong Nhung.
