At VTV Cup 2025, Vietnam has two representatives: the national women's team and the youth team. Because coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet is on duty at the Vietnam women's volleyball team, coach Nguyen Trong Linh will lead the youth team to participate in the tournament in Vinh Phuc.
Recently, coach Nguyen Trong Linh has registered 14 players to participate in the VTV Cup 2025.
Notably, except for the main force of U21 players who have practiced together since the beginning, the Vietnam youth volleyball team has two personnel additions: setter Vi Thi Yen Nhi (Hanoi) and opposite setter Tra My (VTV Binh Dien Long An).
Tra My competed in the 2025 Asian Women's Club Cup with VTV Binh Dien Long An team and achieved good form to reach the final with the team. After that, she was trained by the Vietnam women's volleyball team but was not registered to participate in the AVC Nations Cup 2025.
According to the draw results, the Vietnam youth volleyball team is in Group B with Taiwan (China), the Thai youth team, Korabelka (Russia). The VTV Cup 2025 tournament takes place from June 28 to July 5 in Vinh Phuc.
