Aurora International Aesthetic Institute has not been licensed as a clinic
Recently, Lao Dong Newspaper published an article reflecting on the self-advertised place being "Aurora International Beauty Institute blatantly recommends fat-reducing enzyme culture". This unit introduces a chain of 4 locations in Hanoi at 107 Dai La, Hai Ba Trung; 5/106 Hoang Quoc Viet, Cau Giay; A12/88 To Huu, Van Phuc, Ha Dong and 223 Ngo Gia Tu, Long Bien (Hanoi), which have sold weight loss services to many customers for a long time.
When the reporter introduced himself as a person who wanted to lose weight and to 3/4 of the facilities of this beauty salon, TMV Aurora staff introduced us to 2 wave RF weight loss methods from Master Lipo and fat-reducing enzymes.
According to Clause 12, Article 40 of Decree 96/2023/ND-CP, there are regulations on the conditions for granting a common operating license for medical examination and treatment facilities as follows:

12. A facility that provides the following cosmetic services or uses products with pharmaceutical effects must be established in one of the following forms: a hospital or general clinic or specialized clinic:
a) Cosmetic services that use drugs, substances, and equipment to intervene in the human body (operations, procedures, interventions with injections, injections, pumping, radiation, waves, burning, or other invasive interventions) to:
- Changes skin color, shape, weight gain, weight loss (reduced fat, reduced body fat);
- Overcome disabilities or reshape body parts as desired (cut, nose, eyes, lips, face, chest, abdomen, buttocks and other parts of the human body);
- Regenerate, restore cells or parts or functions of the human body.
b) Tattooing, spraying, and embroidery services on the skin using injectable anesthetics.
Using waves and receiving enzyme transplants to lose weight is an activity that is only allowed in places with organizational forms such as hospitals or general clinics or specialized clinics, but according to research, Aurora International Aesthetic Institute has not been licensed under the above forms.
Speaking to Lao Dong, Mr. Bui Quoc Vuong, Head of the Department of Medical Affairs, Hanoi Department of Health, said: "After inspection, the facilities of Aurora International Aesthetic Institute are not medical examination and treatment facilities, the Department does not grant operating licenses and does not grant technical lists, they are only aesthetic facilities under the management of the district level".
Bustling activities despite many unusual signs
Currently, Aurora's facilities are still operating normally, when contacted by weight loss service consultants, Aurora's staff said: "Currently, my family is still operating normally at 4 facilities, completely losing weight by machine. We are currently stopping consulting by phone, only consulting customers who come directly to the facility".
Previously, when introducing himself as a customer who wanted to lose weight, PV was advised by the staff of this beauty system: "You are the number 1 weight loss system in Vietnam, with 4 locations in Hanoi alone. Normally, a package of 6 sessions to lose weight using a Master Lipo machine is 12 million VND, a package of 10 sessions is 16 million VND. Today, I will give a special discount to my customers, 10 sessions only cost 5 million VND and with a package of 6 sessions, there is only 3 million VND left. For each customer, there is a different discount code and price," said TMV Aurora employee.
An employee of TMV Aurora at 107 Dai La branch (Hai Ba Trung district, Hanoi) said that if customers are willing to pay, this facility also has a high-end service that helps reduce fat quickly in just 3 sessions.
"We have a program to reduce (fever) quickly, it only takes 3 sessions for her to lose 12 - 18 cm (abdominal rounds). This package costs about 20 - 30 million VND, the package is a mix of machine technologies at 107 Dai La facility", the male employee advised.
To lose fat quickly, according to the clinic's staff, this beauty salon will reduce fat for customers by using a Master Lipo machine with RF waves and heat along with pushing the so-called enzyme into customers.
"To reduce 10 cm of belly vong in 3 sessions, we do not plant starch but use machine enzymes. The enzyme will be pushed into (people) by machine. This method is very safe, it is only more expensive," advised an employee of TMV Aurora at 107 Dai La.
However, the Ministry of Health has not yet licensed any enzyme or substance to be directly injected into the body for the purpose of weight loss. This includes methods such as injecting enzymes, essential culture, or injecting active ingredients such as phosphatidylcholine (PCC) or deoxycholate into fat tissue.
