Coach Nguyen Thanh Cong returns to work in the V.League after about half a year of retirement since leaving Hong Linh Ha Tinh. He is considered a coach who pursues a disciplined philosophy, focuses on organizing and maintaining a balance between defense and attack. The competition model he built prioritizes cohesion, proactive defense and rapid state change.
Before leading PVF-CAND, Mr. Thanh Cong worked in the youth training system of Song Lam Nghe An, Viettel and Da Nang. His remarkable career milestone began in 2018 when he successfully led Saigon FC to stay in the V.League. After that, he took on the position of head coach at Thanh Hoa FC, Quang Nam FC and Hong Linh Ha Tinh respectively.
