The Prime Minister requested urgent resolution of policies and insurance payments for people and businesses affected by floods.

Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc has just signed Official Dispatch No. 228/CD-TTg dated November 25, 2025 of the Prime Minister on resolving policies and paying insurance regimes for people and businesses affected by particularly heavy floods in the Central region.

Timely and full payment of insurance regimes

The telegram aims to continue to synchronously and effectively implement policies and pay insurance for people and businesses affected by heavy rain and floods in the Central region, contributing to supporting people and businesses to quickly stabilize the situation and promote production and business recovery after floods.

In the telegram, the Prime Minister requested the Ministry of Finance to preside over and coordinate with relevant ministries and localities to request and urge insurance businesses to urgently have a plan to quickly resolve the issue, complete the payment, and compensate for damages to insurance participants who are people and businesses affected by floods.

The Prime Minister requested to resolve the issue with the fastest and most convenient procedures, ensuring timeliness, completeness, and compliance with legal regulations on insurance business and relevant legal regulations.

Direct Vietnam Social Security to promptly and fully pay social insurance, unemployment insurance, and health insurance with quick and convenient procedures, ensuring compliance with legal regulations on social insurance, unemployment insurance, and health insurance.

Timely handle according to authority or propose to competent authorities plans and solutions to support overcoming the consequences of storms and floods in localities in accordance with the provisions of law.

Resolving health insurance medical examination and treatment benefits with quick procedures

The Ministry of Health, according to its assigned functions and tasks, presides over and coordinates with the Ministry of Finance and relevant localities to direct the settlement of benefits for health insurance examination and treatment for health insurance participants affected by floods with quick and convenient procedures, ensuring timeliness, completeness, and compliance with legal regulations on health insurance and relevant legal regulations.

The Ministry of Home Affairs, according to its assigned functions and tasks, presides over and coordinates with the Ministry of Finance and relevant localities to direct the settlement of unemployment insurance benefits for unemployment insurance participants affected by floods with quick and convenient procedures, ensuring timeliness, completeness, compliance with legal regulations on employment and relevant legal regulations.

Chairmen of People's Committees of provinces and cities: Ha Tinh, Quang Tri, Hue, Da Nang, Quang Ngai, Gia Lai, Dak Lak, Khanh Hoa, Lam Dong proactively and actively coordinate closely with the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Health, and the Ministry of Home Affairs to ensure the legitimate rights and interests of people and businesses.
