On the afternoon of September 16, the second round of groups B and C of the National U17 Cup - Thai Son Nam Cup 2025 final round took place with many dramas.
In Group B, U17 Hanoi and U17 Song Lam Nghe An played quite balanced, mainly competing in the midfield area. Heavy rain in the second half made it even more difficult for the two teams to deploy. There were not many dangerous opportunities created, so the 0-0 draw reflected the situation correctly.

In the remaining match, U17 Hoang Anh Gia Lai and U17 Becamex HCMC were determined to find hope again after the opening loss. U17 Hoang Anh Gia Lai had a Man advantage from the 33rd minute when Quang Kiet was given a red card, but U17 Becamex HCMC took advantage of the counter-attacking defense. In the 52nd minute, Anh Tai scored the only goal, helping the city team win 1-0.

Group C witnessed the superior strength of U17 PVF-CAND against U17 HCMC. Coach Nguyen Ngoc Duy's team completely dominated, forcing goalkeeper Thanh Tu to save the goal many times but still had to accept 5 goals. Van Duong opened the scoring on the penalty spot in the 28th minute, then took advantage of the opponent's defender's mistake to double the gap. Immediately after that, Phi Khang scored the 3rd goal. In the second half, Gia Bao and Anh Tu scored consecutively, before Gia Huy scored an honorary goal for U17 Ho Chi Minh City, ending the match 5-1.

In the remaining match, U17 The Cong Viettel defeated U17 An Giang with a score of 3-1. The army team dominated but also faced dangerous situations, in which Thanh Hai saved the goal right on the goal line. The opening goal came in the 39th minute when Tuan Phat was confused to score an own goal.
In the second half, The Cong continued to take the initiative and had 2 more goals from Dai Nhan and Huy Hoang. In the last minute, Quang Trung scored from the 11m mark for An Giang, narrowing the gap.

At the end of the second round, U17 PVF-CAND was the only team to win all, certainly qualifying for the quarter-finals, at least as one of the two third-place teams with the best results.
