The players of the Vietnamese Women's Volleyball Team have safely returned home after traveling from the Philippines. As soon as they arrived in Vietnam on June 16, the entire team was moved to Da Lat (Lam Dong).
The training ground of the Vietnamese Women's Volleyball Team at present belongs to the National Sports Training Center.
Coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet and his team will train in Da Lat (Lam Dong) for about half a month and then return to Bac Ninh University of Physical Education and Sports.
Before going to the Philippines to participate in the AVC Cup 2026, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team also trained in Bac Ninh.
At AVC Cup 2026, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team finished in 3rd place. This is not a result as expected by fans because coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet's team once won the tournament championship in the previous 3 years (2023, 2024, 2025).
The Vietnamese women's volleyball team still retains the force of 14 players at AVC Cup 2026 to continue training in Da Lat (Lam Dong) at the present time.
It is expected that the coaching staff will have a plan to propose adding more players to train in the post-AVC Cup 2026 phase.
The Vietnamese women's volleyball team will have 2 upcoming tournaments, SEA V.League 2026 and VTV Cup 2026, so players are focused on preparing professionally to determine each team to participate in each tournament.
According to research, expert Karl Lim will work with the Vietnam U18 women's team after the AVC Cup 2026. When the 2026 AFC U18 Championship ends, Mr. Karl Lim will return to the Vietnamese women's volleyball team.
