The 2025 Asian Asian Asian Asian Championship ended on August 4 in Korea. On the decisive day of competition, the kurash Vietnam Team won another gold medal with the competition results of boxer Tran Thi Thanh Thuy in the women's 87kg weight class.
We also have national team player Nguyen Thi Bich Ngoc who competed in the 57kg weightlifting final but lost to fighter Fotima Kodirova (Uzbekistan) and won a silver medal.
In addition, boxer To Thi Trang won the bronze medal in the women's 48kg weight class and boxer Nguyen Thi Ngoc Nhung won the bronze medal in the women's 63kg weight class.
At the end of the tournament, the Vietnamese kurash team won 3 gold medals, 2 silver medals, and 3 bronze medals. In this result, the Vietnamese martial artist won 2 gold medals and 1 silver medal in the event for the youth group. For the championship competition, Vietnamese athletes won 1 gold medal, 1 silver medal, 3 bronze medals.
The tournament has had 14 teams win medals. The overall champion was the Uzbekistan team with 45 gold medals, 5 silver medals, and 3 bronze medals.
kurash will officially compete at the 20th ASIAD in 2026. Therefore, the players competing in this year's Asian Championship will be the force for the kurash Vietnam Team to review and find someone with guaranteed expertise to attend the above Congress next year.
