Vietnam women's team returns home after the 33rd SEA Games

On the afternoon of December 18, the Vietnam women's team returned home, ending their journey at the 33rd SEA Games.

From Bangkok (Thailand), the Vietnam women's team divided into two groups to return home. The group of players and members of the Southern coaching staff landed at Tan Son Nhat airport at 4:05 p.m. Meanwhile, head coach Mai Duc Chung and the Northern members arrived at Noi Bai airport at 6:20 p.m. the same day.

At the 33rd SEA Games, the Vietnam women's team demonstrated a spirit of competition of effort, bravery and high determination, surpassing many opponents to qualify for the final match.

Although they could not successfully defend their championship title, the performance of the whole team still left many impressions of professionalism as well as dedication, thereby receiving great recognition and support from domestic fans.
