The law of attraction is about the relationship between positive/negative thoughts and positive/negative experiences in life. Proponents of this theory often rely on a combination of cognitive restructuring techniques, affirmations, and creative visualization to replace negative thoughts with positive ones. An important part of the law of attraction is the idea that in order to change one’s thoughts, one must “feel” that the desired changes have occurred. This combination of positive thoughts and feelings allows one to “attract” positive experiences and opportunities.
The idea is that when we think positive thoughts and do them consistently through words and belief, the universe will contribute to bring success. For the Vietnamese team at this time, the desire to win the 2024 ASEAN Championship "may be being helped by the universe", on the path of the law of attraction.
What factors are converging to believe that? The candidate status of coach Kim Sang-sik and his team has changed since before the tournament until now. When witnessing the Indonesian team play 2 matches and although the Thai team still made a strong impression, their personnel is not the strongest. Then because the situation in Group B is giving the Vietnamese team a great opportunity to win the top spot, opening up a favorable journey. Or like the fans are heating up their interest in the match with Indonesia in Viet Tri tomorrow night (December 15).
Going back to the AFF Cups that Vietnam won, it seems that there was also help from the universe. In 2008, the Thai team was affected by the political crisis (having to change the stadium from Bangkok to Phuket), while in 2018, the Malaysian team "helped" the Vietnamese team by eliminating Thailand in the semi-finals... In the semi-finals of these two tournaments, the Vietnamese team had good results away from home in the first leg, before settling the score at home.
It should be reiterated that there is no scientific basis for the “law of attraction” – because the team is also thirsty but still fails in many other tournaments, but people also say, “focus on yourself, everything will flow towards you”. Therefore, although there are “good signs”, the Vietnam team still needs to focus on itself.
