Sharing at the training session, striker Bui Vi Hao said that coach Kim Sang-sik spent time correcting some mistakes made in the opening match against Laos, thereby gaining experience for the upcoming match against Indonesia.
"The match against Indonesia is very important because they are a strong opponent. The Vietnamese team must prepare more carefully and focus more than the match against Laos. The Indonesian defense has many young players of the same age as me.
As a left winger, I will have to face the oldest and most experienced player in the Indonesian squad. It will be difficult for me as well as the whole team.
The match day is approaching, the whole team will watch Indonesia's video and prepare carefully for this match. This is a difficult match, we will wait for the tactics and follow the instructions from coach Kim Sang-sik and the coaching staff", the striker currently playing for Binh Duong emphasized.
When joining the Vietnamese team to participate in the ASEAN Cup 2024, Vi Hao had the opportunity to practice with foreign player Nguyen Xuan Son. He said that it was an honor for him because he learned a lot from Xuan Son about the movement and skills of a striker.
This striker also hopes that the team's striker position will always have fair competition. All players will work together towards the team's overall success.
