According to Lao Dong's investigation, the Organizing Committee of the ASEAN Military International Men's Volleyball Tournament 2026 will host the competition at Dong Anh Gymnasium (Hanoi).
This year's tournament continues to attract Army volleyball teams from ASEAN countries to participate.
It is expected that the tournament will be held in August 2026. Currently, Dong Anh Gymnasium (Hanoi) is organizing round 1 of the 2026 National Club Championship with the participation of 8 men's and 8 women's teams from April 6 to April 19.
The last time the ASEAN Military International Men's Volleyball Tournament was held was in 2023. At that time, Vietnam was the host of the tournament and the competition program took place in Ho Chi Minh City. The Vietnam Military Men's Volleyball Team won the championship of the tournament.
In 2025, Dong Anh Gymnasium (Hanoi) was once the venue for the AVC Nations Cup 2025 for women and was highly appreciated for its professional facilities. This is also the venue for the friendly tournament to prepare for the 2025 Women's World Championship between 3 teams Vietnam, Kenya and Spain.
After the players finish round 1 of the 2026 National Club Championship, the professional preparation training plan of the Army Men's Volleyball Team will be developed to aim for participating in the tournament.
In 2023, the players participating in the Army Men's Volleyball Team were athletes from Military Region 3, The Cong Tan Cang and Bien Phong MB teams.
