Right after winning the Pro men's singles championship at PPA Tour Asia - a tournament in the professional system of pickleball in Asia, Trinh Linh Giang attended the "Chef de Pick" sports event and launched the Gamma pickleball racket series organized by Kamito on July 10 in Ho Chi Minh City. Here, he was officially introduced as Kamito's Brand Ambassador.
Sharing at the event, Trinh Linh Giang emphasized: Since switching to pickleball, I have determined this is a serious decision. Not only for achievements, but also a way to develop yourself and move towards more sustainable things in sports".
He said that the PPA Tour Asia championship title is the biggest milestone in his career up to now, and also a motivation to continue pursuing higher goals.
Trinh Linh Giang affirmed that he will continue to focus on competing in Asia in 2025, with the goal of winning more tournaments in the PPA Tour Asia system. Entering 2026, he will aim for bigger playgrounds such as PPA in the US, where pickleball has developed at the highest level in the world.
Pickleball is a highly qualified sport, but the gap between athletes is not too big. Vietnamese athletes can completely compete if they maintain discipline and fighting spirit. We need to try every day to go further," Linh Giang expressed.
In July, Linh Giang will continue to compete domestically to maintain its form, before entering two important tournaments in Hong Kong (China) and Japan within the framework of PPA Tour Asia in August. This is the key moment for him to reach the decline in form, aiming to maintain his position and enhance the image of Vietnamese pickleball on the regional sports map.
