Their fast, versatile attacking style of play did not have much effect against Hanoi Tasco Auto. Coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet's team played tightly, took a good one-two and effectively blocked the net.
In set 2, the Japanese team closely followed the opponent to a score of 9-9. But then, Hanoi Tasco Auto continuously increased the gap thanks to an effective attack. They took a 21-13 lead and did not give the opponent a chance to chase to win with a score of 25-17.

At the end of the match, the Japanese team made some mistakes, preventing them from successfully reversing the game and conceding a defeat with a score of 22-25.
In the end, Hanoi Tasco Auto defeated Gunma Green Wings with a score of 3-0 (25-20, 25-17, 25-22). This result helps them have a favorable start in Group B, opening the door to the semi-finals.
In the 2nd match of the group, Hanoi Tasco Auto will meet Suwon City of Korea, and Gunma Green Wings will face LPB Ninh Binh.
