According to Lao Dong's source, the former head coach of the Vietnam U20 team is likely to participate in the team's youth training system, initially working with the U15 Becamex TPHCM team. This is considered part of the team's successor force restructuring plan in the context that youth training needs to be strengthened in recent seasons.
However, with experience in leading national youth teams as well as working at professional clubs, Mr. Hua Hien Vinh starting from the youth team may be a preparation step for more important roles in the future. In fact, Becamex HCMC once had a precedent of appointing coaches starting from youth training to take over the first team when necessary.
In his coaching career, Mr. Hua Hien Vinh worked for many years at PVF Center before leading Pho Hien (now PVF-CAND) to compete in the National First Division. He also participated in the coaching staff of the Vietnam U23 team in regional and continental tournaments.
Currently, Becamex TPHCM is facing pressure in the relegation race in the V-League when they only have 12 points, 1 point more than the penultimate team PVF-CAND. In that context, the appearance of a coach who understands youth football and has AFC Pro certificate like Mr. Hua Hien Vinh is expected to bring positive changes to the team in the near future.
