The Duc Giang Chemicals hitters dominated and defeated their opponent Hung Yen in the first women's semi-final of the 2025 Youth Club Volleyball Cup, in Tam Dao (Phu Tho).
Coach Dinh Van Dai (Duc Giang Chemicals) asked his students to quickly start the game to gain an advantage. Duc Giang Chemicals players coordinated well in attack situations to overwhelm the opponent. This team easily won with a score of 3-0 (25-13, 25-11, 25-17), winning the first place in the final.
Duc Giang Chemicals will compete in the final with the winner of the remaining semi-final (held on September 8) between VTV Binh Dien Long An and the Information Corps.
In the early semi-final match of the men's event, defending champion The Cong Tan Cang won 3-1 against Khanh Hoa team. This was not an easy match for the youth teams of The Cong Tan Cang. They won 25-17 early in the first game.
However, young hitters of Khanh Hoa played together, creating many dangerous hit situations threatening the difficult The Cong Tan Cang blocker. In the second game, The Cong Tan Cang team won a narrow 25-23 victory.
In the third game, Khanh Hoa won 25-15. In the 4th game, Khanh Hoa had a chance to win but lost points at the decisive moment, so their opponent beat them 27-25.
The remaining men's semi-final will take place on September 8 between Border Defense MB and Ninh Binh.
