On August 9, in Da Nang, Vice President of the Vietnam Football Federation Nguyen Xuan Vu presented coach Phan Thanh Hung with the medal "For the Cause of Vietnamese Football".
Coach Phan Thanh Hung is currently a member of the National Coaching Council, and has also held the position of head coach of the National Football Team.
At the meeting, Vice President of the Vietnam Football Federation Nguyen Xuan Vu inquired about coach Phan Thanh Hung's health and conveyed greetings and encouragement from the Executive Committee and the Standing Committee of the VFF Executive Committee.
VFF Vice President also recalled the memories during the time coach Phan Thanh Hung accompanied the Vietnam U20 team during the training camp in Japan.
Before the concern of VFF leaders, coach Phan Thanh Hung expressed his emotion and sent words of thanks.
On behalf of the Executive Committee and the Standing Committee of the VFF Executive Committee, Vice President Nguyen Xuan Vu awarded the medal to recognize the contributions of coach Phan Thanh Hung to the development of Vietnamese football.
The Medal "For the Cause of Vietnamese Football" is a recognition for individuals who have contributed to national football, including coaches, players and professionals.
