Schedule of Vietnam women's volleyball team vs China in ASIAD 20 quarter-finals

Update on the schedule of the Vietnamese women's volleyball team vs China in the ASIAD 20 quarter-finals.

The Vietnamese women's volleyball team will face China in the quarter-finals of ASIAD 20 after finishing Group D in second place. This is a big challenge for coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet's team as the opponent is ranked 7th in the world and possesses top achievements in Asia.

In the group stage, the Vietnamese women's team had 6 points after 3 matches, including a 3-0 victory over Qatar and Hong Kong (China), before losing 1-3 to South Korea in the final round.

In the match against South Korea, the Vietnamese team could create a balanced game against the opponent, but encountered a first-pass problem and did not take advantage of opportunities well in decisive moments.

The Chinese women's team entered the knockout round with a perfect record against the Philippines and Kazakhstan. This team has won 3 Olympic gold medals and 2 world championships. A squad of players with good height helps China maintain attacking power at a high level, while creating an advantage in blocking.

Thanh Thuy and her teammates once faced China at the Asian Championship last month and lost 0-3. However, China then could not win the championship when they lost to Thailand 2-3 in the final.

Coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet set a requirement for the players to maintain a comfortable mentality, focusing on their abilities when entering the quarter-finals.

The match between the Vietnamese women's volleyball team and China in the quarter-finals of ASIAD 20 takes place at 11:00 AM on September 20.
