On the morning of September 19, Colonel Vo Van Duong - Deputy Director of Quang Ngai Provincial Police - informed that at 1:34 am on September 19, after receiving an order to rescue a traffic accident between 2 trucks on the Da Nang - Quang Ngai expressway, belonging to Tho Phong commune, Team Area 1, Fire and Rescue Police Department of Quang Ngai Provincial Police immediately deployed troops.
The Fire and Rescue Police force mobilized 2 vehicles and 13 officers and soldiers, traveling 15 km overnight, urgently approached the scene, quickly deployed rescue work, brought the two victims trapped in the truck out safely and handed them over to the medical force for continued emergency and treatment.
