Of which, Vietnam has 3 players participating in the main round of the women's singles and 2 players participating in the men's singles.
In the women's singles event, tennis player Nguyen Thuy Linh (ranked 22nd in the world) is seeded No. 1 in the tournament. With her consistent performance over the past time, Thuy Linh is expected to win the tournament for the third consecutive time, after 2022 and 2023.
In round 1, Nguyen Thuy Linh will meet fellow countryman Vu Thi Anh Thu (ranked 110th in the world). If she advances further, Thuy Linh could face Vu Thi Trang in the quarterfinals.
