The final match of the 2024 National Volleyball Championship - women's event is a match between VTV Binh Dien Long An club and Duc Giang Lao Cai Chemicals.
Previously, in the semi-finals, coach Thai Quang Lai's team defeated defending champion LPB Ninh Binh with a close score of 3-2, while the capital representative had a better advantage when winning 3-1 against Long Son Thanh Hoa Cement.
This is the 5th time Duc Giang Chemicals has participated in the finals. The previous 4 times, they all fell to different opponents. Therefore, Tu Linh and her teammates are determined to defeat their opponents to win the championship this season.
In fact, Duc Giang Chemicals did not perform well in the first phase of the national championship as well as the Asian arena last September. However, in the second phase, this team changed positively and became a strong candidate.

Under the hands of the former captain of the Vietnam national team, the playing style of Duc Giang Chemicals has become more cohesive and effective in both defense and attack. The players have not only improved in skill but also become more tenacious on the field.
Domestic players such as Tu Linh, Bich Thuy, Ly Thi Luyen... are still the bright spots in the squad, showing more progress than they did 2 months ago. Notably, foreign player Chepchumba plays flexibly in both defense and attack, with graceful moves such as dropping the ball, loose-handed hitting, and effective ball correction.
