On the evening of November 16, Hoa Binh province held a ceremony to receive the Certificate of National Special Monument ranking for the archaeological site of Hang Xom Trai, Mai Da Lang Vanh and the opening of the Culture - Tourism Week of Hoa Binh province in 2024. Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long attended the program.
Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of the People's Committee of Hoa Binh province Bui Van Khanh said that Hoa Binh is located at the gateway to the Northwest region of the country, a land with a long-standing historical and cultural tradition, imbued with the identity of the Muong, Thai, Tay, Dao, Mong ethnic groups and is the cradle of the famous "Hoa Binh Culture" with more than 100 ranked relics and many unique folk festivals... Those strengths are being focused on by the locality to awaken and strongly promote.
The Chairman of the People's Committee of Hoa Binh province emphasized that the Culture - Tourism Week promises to leave good images and impressions for delegates, people and tourists attending.
Through the event, we will promote and introduce the potential, strengths, beautiful natural landscapes, unique cultural identities of the ethnic groups in Hoa Binh province; typical attractive tourist destinations of the locality; products from Da River fish and shrimp, agricultural products, typical OCOP products of the province to attract domestic and international tourists, etc.
Hoa Binh Province Culture - Tourism Week 2024 takes place from November 15 - 23.

According to the reporter's research, Xom Trai cave relic is a typical Hoa Binh Cultural relic in Vietnam and Southeast Asia, discovered in 1975.
The cave dates back 21,000 years and was ranked as a national archaeological site in 2001. Through many investigations, explorations and excavations, a huge amount of documents including mollusk shells, animal teeth and bones, human remains, pottery and especially stone relics amounting to thousands of artifacts were discovered.
To date, this is the Hoa Binh Cultural relic with the richest collection of stone tools. In 4 excavations (1980, 1981, 1982, 1986), the number of tools found at this site was not very large…
The Lang Vanh stone roof relic is a typical Stone Age archaeological relic of the Hoa Binh Culture, discovered and excavated by French female archaeologist M.Colani in 1929.
The Lang Vanh stone roof relic was ranked as a national archaeological relic in 2004. Currently, the relic still retains part of the original cultural layer, on the stone roof wall there are still many sedimentary layers of the Quaternary period.
