Typhoon Yagi, a super typhoon, has passed for a few days, but the aftermath and consequences left behind are truly terrible. Hanoi and coastal provinces are considered a "battlefield" after the storm. Not stopping there, these days are extremely difficult in the mountainous and midland provinces of the North. Natural disasters affect the lives, livelihoods, and work of everyone, not just the direct victims. And of course, it attracts all attention, leaving little room for cultural, sports, and entertainment activities...
That’s right. These days, many people believe that large-scale cultural, sports, and music events should not be held, or if they have been planned and are about to be held, they should be canceled. Because entertainment in a depressed, sad, and unstable mood will not receive the best values of the event.
But that is not true either. There are still events and tasks that need to be organized, so there needs to be a clear separation. There are still localities that are not affected by storms, floods, or natural disasters, but they still turn to the floodplains, the affected localities, and share the difficulties with the hearts of individuals and groups. Even the cultural, sports, and music events that are organized are the places that contribute to calling for contributions, support, and assistance for our compatriots.
Right in Hanoi, one of the affected localities, a friendly match between the Vietnam and Thailand teams still took place. If the result was a matter for experts, people would also talk about the contributions and support sent by the Vietnam Football Federation and the Vietnam National Team to other localities. Small, but with great spiritual significance, like a minute of silence for the victims of nature's wrath.
I am sure that many of the thousands of fans present at My Dinh Stadium, despite their own difficulties, still sent something... Then the singers, athletes, and artists contributed and supported with all their hearts. This is not the time to criticize, judge, or criticize what is done or how. We always need the unity of hearts, especially in difficult times...
