Changes at the National Championship volleyball tournament 2025

According to the plan of the Vietnam Volleyball Federation (VFV), phase 1 of the National Championship 2025 was held at Dong Anh District Stadium, Hanoi from 22-31.3 and phase 2 took place in Ninh Binh Provincial Stadium from 10-19.10.

Accordingly, since this season, the tournament has only 8 teams in both men and women categories, reducing 1 team compared to the previous seasons. Therefore, last year there were 4 relegation teams of Hanoi, Quang Ninh (female) and Vinh Long, Ha Tinh (male), and only 2 teams were ranked in Ho Chi Minh City (female) and Ho Chi Minh City Police (Male).

A new point in this year's tournament is that the content of men and women competes in the same time and a location in each stage (phase 1 in Hanoi and phase 2 in Ninh Binh), instead of 4 at 4 The locality is different as previous years. Therefore, professional preparation and logistics will be very large when the number of matches is almost doubled.

The solving formula is kept, the teams competing in the circle 1 turn. Accordingly, the top 4 teams won tickets for the semi -finals, finals and 4 teams at the end of the group competition.

In addition, the National Championship 2025 also has a new sponsor, Ca Mau Petroleum Fertilizer Joint Stock Company. The unit that sponsored Vietnamese volleyball in the period from 2014 - 2018. This year, this sponsor continues to ensure the bonus for the teams.

Notably, this year is the second year of the Vietnam Volleyball Federation and the Organizing Committee collects expenses from the television copyright for the National Championship.

According to General Secretary Le Tri Truong, although the number is not public, all audited, the Communications Committee of VFV's funding advertising reports in accordance with the responsibility.

It is known that the money collected from the television copyright will be added by VFV to activities for each national volleyball team in training and participating in international tournaments.
