Now, Ly Thi Luyen will have the opportunity to compete in stage 2 of the tournament held in Chiangmai (Thailand).
Going back 3 years, Ly Thi Luyen once participated in the 2nd leg of the SEA V.League 2023 (predecessor of the SEA V.Cup). On the court in Thailand at that time, Ly Thi Luyen and her teammates won the runner-up title.
Fortunately, stage 2 of the SEA V.League 2023 was held in Chiangmai (Thailand) and now the stage 2 competition program of the SEA V.Cup 2026 continues to take place here.
Also after the 2nd leg of the SEA V.League 2023, Ly Thi Luyen did not participate in the matches of this tournament in 2024 and 2025.
Now, this middle blocker player of the Hoa Chat Duc Giang women's team has returned to the Vietnamese women's volleyball team when she reached her best form through the tournaments at the beginning of 2026.
During the last days of training at Bac Ninh University of Physical Education and Sports before going to Thailand to participate in stage 2 of the SEA V.Cup 2026, Ly Thi Luyen humbly expressed that she is in the most comfortable mood to confidently compete.
In the stands of Dong Anh Gymnasium (Hanoi) in some matches of the first leg of the SEA V.Cup 2026 tournament recently, Ly Thi Luyen and many players who did not compete attended to cheer for their teammates.
For her, in addition to cheering for the Vietnamese women's volleyball team, it is an opportunity for her to accumulate more experience. Watching opponents compete live is also a time for Ly Thi Luyen to learn many important things for herself.
Returning to the professional preparation of the Vietnamese women's volleyball team in Chiangmai (Thailand), the coaching staff said that the players are maintaining the best spirit.
After completing the registration of the list in accordance with regulations, 14 players will enter the competition from August 7.
Ly Thi Luyen set a goal for herself to strive with her teammates to achieve the highest results.
