On January 20, at the Hung Yen Bac 2 hamlet football field (Yen Trung commune, Nghe An province) - Dinh Bac's hometown - the atmosphere was bustling when local people together installed LED screens, preparing for the semi-final match between U23 Vietnam and U23 China taking place on the same evening.

From early morning, many fans brought national flags, banners, drums and trumpets and necessary items to set up a centralized cheering space. The highlight is a LED screen about 3m high and 5m wide installed in the middle of the football field to serve thousands of people watching the match live.
Sharing with reporters, Mr. Dinh Van Hien - a member of the organizing committee - said that this is a spontaneous activity of a group of fans in Yen Trung commune to boost the spirit of coach Kim Sang-sik and his team, especially striker Dinh Bac - the pride of his homeland. The organizational costs are contributed by the people and members of the group together.

According to the organizers, from about 6:30 PM, people can come to the stadium to watch the early semi-final match between U23 Japan and U23 Korea. After that, people will have cultural exchanges and singing to wait for the U23 Vietnam match at 10:30 PM.
Talking to a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Pham Ngoc Cu - Chairman of Yen Trung Commune People's Committee said that in response to the wishes of Dinh Bac's family and a large number of people, the local government fully supports and creates maximum conditions to organize a joint viewing session. "This is also a special cultural and sports event of the commune. People are very proud that their homeland has talented players like Dinh Bac, so they come to watch and cheer in large numbers. We hope Dinh Bac will continue to shine, contributing to bringing victory to the team," Mr. Cu said.

According to Mr. Pham Ngoc Cu, currently the functional forces of the commune are coordinating to support Dinh Bac's family in preparation work, and at the same time ensure security and order, safety for people throughout the cheering session.
