The Can Tho - Ca Mau expressway has officially been opened to traffic and put into operation the entire route after about 3 years of construction, marking an important completion step of one of the strategic infrastructure components of the North-South Expressway in the East in the Mekong Delta region. The expressway has a total length of nearly 111 km, invested and built with a scale of 4 lanes, meeting modern technical standards. The total investment of the project is more than 27,500 billion VND, invested by the My Thuan Project Management Board (Ministry of Construction).

Tai nut giao IC10, doan qua xa Tri Phai, tinh Ca Mau, tuyen cao toc co duong dan ket noi voi Quoc lo 63; dong thoi bo tri cau vuot song Huyen Su tren tuyen chinh cao toc Hau Giang – Ca Mau.

At IC10 intersection, the section passing through Tri Phai commune, Ca Mau province, the expressway has an access road connecting to National Highway 63; and at the same time arranges a Huyen Su river overpass on the main Hau Giang - Ca Mau expressway.

Mr. Lu Quang Ngoi - Chairman of Ca Mau Provincial People's Committee informed that the Can Tho - Ca Mau expressway along with other key projects will create conditions for the province to attract investment from businesses and potential investors to Ca Mau land in particular as well as provinces in the Mekong Delta region for economic development.
