Hung Yen Football Club (Hung Yen Football Club - Hung Yen FC), formerly PVF-CAND Youth Club, was received by Hung Yen province from July 2026.
The club is managed by KBC Hung Yen Joint Stock Company, operating under the professional supervision of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; training and coaching at PVF Youth Football Training Center (Nghia Tru commune) and using PVF stadium as home field in the National First Division League season 2026 - 2027.
At the ceremony, the Organizing Committee announced the results of receiving and transferring the PVF-CAND Youth Football Team to form Hung Yen Football Club; announced the Decision to establish the Club and the Decision to establish the Coaching Board. Hung Yen Football Club officially launched the Coaching Board and players.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Pham Van Nghiem - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee affirmed that the official launch of Hung Yen Football Club is an important milestone for professional football in the province, opening a new journey, creating motivation to promote the football movement, youth training and the development of Hung Yen sports.
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized that the name "Hung Yen" is not only the brand of the Club but also sends the trust, affection and expectations of the Party Committee, government and people in the province. Therefore, the Club needs to be built in a professional, transparent, and effective management direction, with appropriate development strategies and roadmaps.
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Club to gradually build its own culture, maintain ethics, style, and professional awareness; compete honestly and nobly, respecting opponents, referees and audiences.
At the same time, strengthening connections with fans, the business community and society; continuing to seek the coordination and support of departments, agencies, branches, localities and the companionship of businesses, information and communication agencies to build a professional and unique image of Hung Yen football.
After the launch, Hung Yen Football Club organized a send-off ceremony to participate in the National First Division League season 2026 - 2027. This season, Hung Yen FC registered 28 players, of which the main force is inherited from PVF-CAND Youth Club. The team aims to strive to be in the top group, aiming to win the right to play in the Vietnam National Football Championship (V.League).
