On September 3rd, the People's Police Club (formerly PVF-CAND) held a send-off ceremony to participate in the 2026-2027 National First Division season with a new face and determination.
Speaking at the ceremony, General Luong Tam Quang - Member of the Politburo, Minister of Public Security said: "Today, I am very happy and excited to attend the ceremony of transferring the PVF - People's Police Youth Football Club to Hung Yen Football Club and the launching ceremony of the People's Police Football Club to kick off the 2026 - 2027 season.
This is a historical milestone, deeply reflecting the expectations of the Party Committee of the Central Public Security and the Ministry of Public Security on the determination to build a collective with strong bravery, strength, disciplined and professional competition, always striving to overcome all difficulties and challenges, dedicating themselves to the colors of the flag and shirt, deeply showing the image of the "three-best" people's police soldier in the new era.
At the same time, wishing that through each match, each season, the image of the people's police soldier will continue to be widely spread, contributing to strongly promoting the image of the country and people of Vietnam as safe, dynamic, with strong will and aspiration to rise up.
At the launching ceremony, the People's Police Club officially launched the Board of Directors, Coaching Staff, players and jersey designs for the 2026-2027 season.
People's Police Club enters the new season with comprehensive preparation, aiming to win tickets to the V.League next season. This year, the team is led by new coach Nguyen Duc Thang, and welcomes many quality rookies such as goalkeeper Dinh Trieu, Le Viktor, Minh Vuong, Do Phi Long or Huynh Minh Doan, along with young factors such as Ly Duc, Thanh Nhan, Minh Phuc...
The top task of the club is to prepare thoroughly in all aspects, focusing on building the team, improving fitness. Training trips and friendly matches will help the team consolidate and review forces to prepare for the new season.
The coaching staff aims to build a team with a spirit of solidarity, professional training, playing and professional activities. The whole team will aim for each match, each stage, with the goal of quickly returning to V.League with a dedicated playing style," coach Nguyen Duc Thang emphasized.
In addition, also within the framework of the event, Hung Yen Football Club officially debuted after receiving the transfer from PVF-CAND Youth Football Club. The team inherits the youth training foundation and will also play in the First Division in the 2026-2027 season.
