17-year-old star helps the Information Corps enter the semi-finals of the national youth volleyball tournament

HOÀNG HUÊ |

Striker Quynh Huong shined to bring the Information Corps Youth Team - Dong Bac Commercial Center to the semi-finals of the 2025 National Youth Volleyball Tournament.

The third quarterfinal match in the women's event is the competition between Bac Ninh and Vietinbank taking place on May 16.

At this time, the girls from Kinh Bac are still showing that they are too strong compared to their opponents. They did not have much difficulty defeating Vietinbank with a score of 3-0 (25-21, 25-23, 25-12).

The final match in this round of the women's event is the clash between the Information Corps Youth and Hanoi. Both of them possess talented players of Vietnamese women's volleyball.

Although Hanoi had a compatible duo, Anh Thao and Thuy Linh, the young girls in military uniforms showed their mettle and ability to seize their opportunities.

In this competition, Quynh Huong and Mai Quynh were the most outstanding athletes, along with the breakthroughs from captain Kim Chi.

In particular, although only 17 years old, the main striker Quynh Huong played skillfully, achieving high efficiency throughout the sets.

In addition, the solidity of Tra Giang, Bui Chau, To Uy and Van Anh helped Tre Binh Luc Thong Tin win 3-0 against Hanoi (25-22, 25-17, 25-22).

In the men's group, The Cong Tan Cang quickly ended the match with Tra Vinh after 3 sets. The scores of the sets are 25-18, 25-12, 25-17.

Meanwhile, the Hanoi men's youth team will face Da Nang in the final quarter-final match. After 4 sets, the representative of the Capital defeated their opponent with a score of 3-1 (25-16, 29-27, 22-25, 25-23).
