The 4-0 victory over the U19 women's team of Indonesia helped the U19 women's team of Vietnam qualify for the final of the 2025 Southeast Asian U19 Women's Championship.

On the afternoon of June 16, at Thong Nhat Stadium (HCMC), U19 Vietnam women's team had a match with U19 Indonesia in the semi-final match of the 2025 Southeast Asian U19 Women's Championship.

Right from the start of the match, the U19 Vietnam women's team proactively pushed up their formation and quickly imposed a playing style. In the 10th minute, from a long distance, Hong Minh took a beautiful free kick, sending the ball straight into the A-side corner, opening the score for the home team. In the 36th minute, captain Hoang Van increased the score to 2-0 after a skillful combination with Hoai Trinh.

In the second half, the game continued to belong to the players in red shirts. In the 48th minute, Hoai Trinh easily cushioned the ball close to the goal after Thanh Hieu crossed the ball on the left wing. Five minutes later, Hoang Van completed a double, sealing a 4-0 victory after a rebound shot in the penalty area.

Despite the safe gap, the Vietnam U19 women's team still maintained a tight playing style and firm ball control until the end of the match. Meanwhile, the U19 women's team of Indonesia was completely inferior, almost not creating any significant opportunities.

With a convincing performance, the Vietnam U19 women's team continued to extend their winning streak in the tournament, scoring a total of 20 goals and conceding no goals. The opponent of the Vietnamese girls in the upcoming final will be U19 Thailand women's team. The final match took place on June 18.

The final match promises to be the top competition between the two strongest teams in the tournament, and an opportunity for the U19 Vietnam women's team to affirm their number one position in Southeast Asia.
