Politburo member and National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man has just signed and issued Resolution No. 1666/NQ-UBTVQH15 on the arrangement of commune-level administrative units in Hung Yen province in 2025.
Based on Project No. 360/DA-CP of the Government on the arrangement of commune-level administrative units of Hung Yen province (new) in 2025, the National Assembly Standing Committee decided to arrange to establish commune-level administrative units of Hung Yen province.
The communes include: Tan Hung, Hoang Hoa Tham, Tien Lu, Tien Hoa, Quang Hung, Doan Dao, Tien Tien, Tong Tran, Luong Bang, Nghia Dan, Hiep Cuong, Duc Hop, An Thi, Xuan Truc, Pham Ngu Lao, Nguyen Trai, Hong Quang, Khoai Chau, Trieu Viet Vuong, Viet Tien, Chi Minh, Chau Ninh, Yen My, Viet Yen, Hoan Long, Nguyen Van Linh, Nhu Quynh, Lac Dao, Dai Dong, Nghia Tru, Phung Cong, Van Giang, Me So, Thai Thuy, Dong Thuy Anh, Bac Thuy Anh, Thuy Anh, Nam Thuy Anh, Bac Thai Ninh, Dong Thai Ninh, Thai Nam, Thai Ninh, Thai Ninh Tay;

After the arrangement, Hung Yen province has 104 commune-level administrative units, including 93 communes and 11 wards.
This Resolution takes effect from the date of approval (June 16).
The competent authorities urgently carry out necessary preparations to ensure that local authorities in commune-level administrative units formed after the arrangement officially operate from July 1, 2025.
Local authorities in commune-level administrative units before the reorganization will continue to operate until the local government in commune-level administrative units is formed after the reorganization and officially operates.
The Government, the People's Council, the People's Committee of Hung Yen province, local authorities, administrative units related to the implementation of the arrangement and other relevant agencies and organizations are responsible for organizing the implementation of this Resolution.
Arrange and stabilize the apparatus of local agencies and organizations; stabilize the lives of local people, ensure the requirements of socio-economic development, national defense and security in the area.
Assign the Government, based on this Resolution and Project No. 360/DA-CP of the Government, to organize the accurate determination of the natural area of commune-level administrative units and publicly announce it before September 30, 2025.
At the same time, urgently deploy the work of measuring and determining the boundary scope of administrative units on the field to prepare documents on the boundary of administrative units according to regulations.
