On the afternoon of April 3, Vietnam Professional Football Joint Stock Company (VPF) and the Organizing Committee of the 2024-2025 National Professional Football Tournaments conducted an inspection and assessment of the quality of My Dinh Stadium before the matches of round 17 of V.League 2024-2025.
According to VPF, the My Dinh pitch is currently covered relatively, although most of the dead grass areas have been repaired by replacing new grass.
However, some court areas still have weeds and yellow, the colors are not up to standard. In addition, some areas in the middle of the stadium need to continue to be supplemented with grass to ensure the best conditions for matches.

Site maintenance work still needs to continue to be carried out in time for the match between The Cong Viettel and Quang Nam clubs at 7:15 p.m. on April 5.
A representative of The Cong Viettel club said that the team's staff and technicians are actively coordinating with the My Dinh Stadium Management Board in grass care.
In recent days, the team and the Stadium Management Board have carried out grass weeding and grass weeding work using specialized machines, ensuring the necessary quality and size, helping new grass to quickly stick to the roots. The club is committed to continuing to closely coordinate to maintain and take care of the field, in order to meet the requirements of organizing upcoming matches.

Previously, at My Dinh Stadium, The Cong Viettel had a match to welcome Hoang Anh Gia Lai in the quarter-finals of the National Cup on March 31.
However, the grass surface for the competition is not of good quality, many areas of dead grass have exposed bare ground, especially the area near stand A and the goal. This significantly affects the professional quality of the match.
After the match, coach Le Quang Trai of Hoang Anh Gia Lai emphasized: "Ly Duc and Dinh Lam were both injured due to bad pitch. Lam suffered from mild pain, but for Duc, the doctors reported a serious injury to his left knee. Duc just blocked the ball normally but the strong impact on the pitch caused him serious injuries."
Meanwhile, coach Nguyen Duc Thang (The Cong Viettel) said: "After the most recent event, the My Dinh pitch was really bad, affecting both teams. Because the pitch was bad, we had to change the strategy. Controlling the ball on a rough pitch is really difficult."
