According to the match schedule, on the evening of March 30, The Cong Viettel club will host Hoang Anh Gia Lai at My Dinh National Stadium in the quarter-finals of the 2024-2025 National Cup.

However, at this time, the My Dinh Stadium turf is seriously degraded. According to the latest records, many patches of grass have died, exposing bare ground. The yard is not even in color, green and yellow, especially the area near stand A.
The poor pitch could affect the professional quality of the two teams in the upcoming quarter-final of the National Cup.

Previously, in early March, the Vietnam Department of Physical Training and Sports confirmed that My Dinh Stadium will be allocated 8 billion VND to repair the grass.
The repair is expected to be carried out from June to October, including the entire grass and foundation rebuilding item. The grass surface is being covered with 20 layers, but will later be dug up to 40-50 layers to completely re-enhance. The water spraying system will also be upgraded.
In terms of infrastructure, My Dinh Stadium has been "mentored" since 2021 when the Vietnamese team played in the third qualifying round of the 2022 World Cup and will continue to be restored in 2022 when hosting the 31st SEA Games. Currently, some functional rooms such as dressing room, press conference room, Vip room... are still in a guaranteed state.
In addition, some corridors outside the stadium have peeled off the foundation and are stuck with water, and need to be repaired and cleaned to restore a more beautiful appearance to My Dinh Stadium.
