Mr. Nguyen Hong Minh added: Although the host country is going through many difficulties such as natural disasters and is having Quoc Hoang Thai Hau Sirikit's funeral, it has made great efforts to organize the 33rd SEA Games.
This is a great effort of the host country. Therefore, the responsibility of the delegations in particular and the responsibility of the Vietnamese sports delegation in general is to contribute to the Organizing Committee of the 33rd SEA Games.
Regarding the composition of the Vietnamese delegation, the Head of the Vietnam Sports delegation said that in addition to the team of doctors serving the football team, this time there are 19 doctors from the Vietnam Sports Hospital and national sports training and training centers.
This is the force responsible for taking care of the health, recovering from injuries and maintaining the physical strength of athletes throughout the competition in Thailand.
Mr. Nguyen Hong Minh emphasized: "This is a huge and arduous workload for medical staff. We hope that in the coming time, with the State's attention to policies and regimes, the team of sports health workers will improve.
From there, the team of people working in sports medicine will develop, helping us catch up with the professional qualifications of countries in the region, towards the Asian Games and Olympic arenas.
Mr. Nguyen Hong Minh also informed that Vietnamese sports are applying science and technology, including artificial intelligence to plan competitions, analyze tactics and implement practice. Especially football teams and some other sports teams.
Currently, we are also coordinating with domestic companies to apply AI technology to serve coaching work, and will soon apply it to all sports teams when participating in training and competition".
The head of the delegation expressed hope that competing and rubbling with strong opponents in the region, especially athletes from Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, will become a driving force for Vietnamese athletes to improve their professional qualifications, shorten the gap and aim for higher achievements at the ASIAD and the Olympics.
