In set 1, students of coach Nguyen Thi Ngoc Hoa faced many difficulties when being chased by their opponents. In the end, the Vietnamese team was still more confident and experienced to win with a score of 25-22.
This advantage helps Kieu Trinh and her teammates play more excitedly in the next period. The Vietnamese women's volleyball team showed their superior strength against the French youth team and easily defeated the European representative with a score of 25-15 and 25-11, thereby winning 3-0 overall.
At this year's tournament, the goal of Vietnamese women's volleyball is to create opportunities for athletes to compete and accumulate professional experience. From there, the coaching staff will have specific assessments of each individual before selecting personnel to participate in the SEA V.League and the world championship.
According to the match schedule, the Vietnam women's team will meet China U21 in the second match, taking place at 6:00 p.m. tomorrow (July 14).
