Coach Mai Duc Chung affirmed that the Vietnamese women's team has made careful preparations and is ready to enter the matches in Group C of the 2026 Women's Asian Cup.

Speaking at a press conference before the opening match against India, Mr. Mai Duc Chung thanked the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) and the Australian Football Federation for their organization.

According to the draw results, the Vietnamese women's team is in Group C with opponents Japan, India and Taiwan (China).

Coach Mai Duc Chung also expressed his excitement when playing in Australia - the co-host country of the 2023 Women's World Cup. He said that favorable weather conditions and the encouragement of the Vietnamese community here will be a significant source of encouragement.
