On the morning of March 3, at the hall of Ban Thach Ward People's Committee, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang City organized a meeting with voters to mobilize elections for candidates for the 16th National Assembly, constituency No. 5.
Participating in the meeting were 5 candidates including: Ms. Ho Thi Hiet - teacher of Tra Nam Ethnic Minority Boarding Primary and Secondary School (Tra Linh commune); Mr. Nguyen Phi Hung - Member of the Party Committee Executive Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang City; Mr. Nguyen Hai Long - Member of the Party Committee Executive Committee, Member of the Party Committee's Inspection Committee of the Committee for Representative Affairs, Director of the Department of Representative Affairs under the Committee for Representative Affairs of the National Assembly; Ms. Dinh Thi Mia - teacher, Deputy Head of the Professional Group of Vo Nguyen Giap Ethnic Minority Boarding Secondary School (Tra Tap commune); Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan - Member of the Party Central Committee Executive Committee; Deputy Head of the Central Policy and Strategy Committee; National Assembly Deputy, Chairman of the 15th Young National Assembly Delegation; Member of the Central Theoretical Council, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.



A large number of voters from Ban Thach, Tam Ky, Huong Tra wards (belonging to the former Quang Nam province) attended, showing deep concern for the important political event of the country.
At the conference, candidates presented action programs with a sense of responsibility, focusing on major issues such as building a rule-of-law state, preventing and combating corruption, sustainable economic development associated with ensuring social security, improving people's lives, developing green cities and digital transformation.



In particular, in the action program, Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan emphasized the determination to participate in building policies to promote high economic growth associated with innovation of growth models; pay attention to people in mountainous, remote and isolated areas; ensure social security, and not leave anyone behind.
The atmosphere of the conference was democratic and frank. Many voters expressed their agreement with the major orientations set out by the candidates, and at the same time expected that if delegates were elected, they would continue to maintain close contact with the People, listen to and truthfully reflect the thoughts and aspirations of voters to the National Assembly.
The meeting closed in a joyful atmosphere, consolidating the confidence of Da Nang voters in a new National Assembly term of renovation, action and for the People.
