In the afternoon of August 14, at the Hall of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF), the Vietnamese women's team participated in a training and communication education session on doping prevention and control, in the process of preparing for ASIAD 2026 in Japan.
The training session aims to equip team members with necessary knowledge about doping prevention and control, and at the same time raise awareness and responsibility of athletes in complying with relevant regulations.
According to the program, players are guided on the requirements in doping prevention and control education and completion of certificates on the ADLE system. This is one of the contents that is focused on in the preparation process for ASIAD 2026, helping players proactively protect their health, comply with international regulations and maintain a clean and professional sports image.
Currently, the Vietnamese women's national team is stationed and training at the Vietnam Youth Football Training Center from August 7 to August 30. During this period, the team is expected to have 3 domestic practice matches to check and evaluate the force and complete professional plans.
In early September, coach Hoang Van Phuc and his team will go to China for training and play 2 friendly matches. This is considered an important preparation step before the Vietnamese women's team enters ASIAD 2026.
In the morning training session on August 14, midfielder Nguyen Thi Bich Thuy said that the whole team is striving to maintain a high training spirit, aiming for the best condition before the tournament.
“In the past week of training, the weather was quite hot, but everyone always motivated each other as well as encouraged each other to complete the lesson plan. The coaching staff as well as doctors have supplemented vitamins for athletes and everyone is also trying to adapt to the weather,” Bich Thuy shared.
The midfielder born in 1994 said that the players maintain solidarity, encouraging each other in training to adapt to hot weather conditions. The whole team is also waiting for the upcoming practice and friendly matches to assess the preparation process.
In the remaining time, the Vietnamese women's team will continue to improve physical strength, expertise and coordination between positions. In addition to tactical exercises, international friendly and friendly matches will help the team accumulate experience and improve their force before ASIAD 2026.
The training session on doping prevention and control is part of the team's comprehensive preparation process, helping players raise their sense of responsibility and proactively comply with regulations before entering the continental arena.
