Before leaving for the 33rd SEA Games in Thailand, the women's team and the U22 Vietnam team donated 100 million VND to support people in the Central region affected by storms and floods.

At the meeting with national teams to prepare for the 33rd SEA Games, Acecook Vietnam Joint Stock Company and Hao Hao brand announced to continue accompanying Vietnamese football until 2030 with the Top Star Partner sponsorship package. At the same time, this enterprise awarded 500 million VND to encourage the competitive spirit of the U22 team and the national women's team before the journey to conquer the regional arena.

General Secretary of the Vietnam Football Federation Nguyen Van Phu said that the sponsors' support is an important source of motivation, helping the teams make more efforts to meet the expectations of fans.

Vietnam women's team coach Mai Duc Chung also expressed his appreciation and said that the two teams agreed to contribute to support the people of the Central region that were heavily affected by natural disasters.

Although the force was affected by injuries, the coaching staff of the two teams quickly adjusted personnel, aiming to win gold medals at the 33rd SEA Games. At the previous tournament, Vietnam men's football won the bronze medal, while the women's team continued to maintain a streak of 4 consecutive gold medals.

Currently, both teams are completing the final preparations before entering the journey to compete for achievements in Thailand.
